Ryan McKelvey Appointed as President, Cornerstone Brands

Today, Qurate Retail Group announced that Ryan McKelvey has been appointed to the role of President, Cornerstone Brands.

Part of Qurate Retail Group, Cornerstone Brands is comprised of four leading home and lifestyle brands, including Ballard Designs, Frontgate, Garnet Hill, and Grandin Road. Ryan most recently held the position of President, Ballard Designs and additionally led Cornerstone Services Operations. In his new role, Ryan will lead the overall Cornerstone Brands portfolio strategy and report to Mike George, President and CEO, Qurate Retail, Inc., as part of the Qurate Retail Group executive team.

Ryan first joined Cornerstone in 2000 as Senior Vice President, Operations and Sourcing, Ballard Designs and held roles of increasing responsibility within Cornerstone Brands before being appointed President, Ballard Designs in 2008. Prior to joining Cornerstone Brands, Ryan held roles with companies such as L&A Molding and L.L. Bean. He received his BA in Finance from The University of Georgia.

Claire Spofford, who previously led Cornerstone Brands, is leaving Qurate Retail Group to pursue another opportunity. In the near term, Ryan will also continue as President of Ballard Designs and COO, Cornerstone Brands.
