Qurate Retail Group Brands Awarded on Newsweek’s Best Customer Service & Best Online Shops 2023 List

October 31, 2022: At Qurate Retail GroupSM, we strive to continuously provide exemplary customer service across all seven of our brands – anticipating our customers’ needs and building strong relationships. We are proud to share that Newsweek recently recognized these efforts by naming all seven of our brands to one or both of two prestigious 2023 lists: America’s Best Customer Service and Best Online Shops.

QVC®, HSN® and Zulily® are all included on Newsweek’s list for America’s Best Customer Service 2023, and were honored in the following categories:

  • QVC ranked #1 and HSN ranked #2 in “Online Retailers: Food, Health and Beauty Shopping TV Channels.”
  • Zulily ranked #1 in “Online Retailers: Clothing — Members-Only Sales (Online).”

In addition, six of Qurate Retail Group’s brands, including Ballard Designs®, Grandin Road®, Frontgate® and Garnet Hill®, ranked among Newsweek’s Best Online Shops 2023 in the following categories:

  • HSN ranked #5 and QVC ranked #6 in “Universal Provider — General.”
  • Ballard Designs ranked #6 in “Home Living — Furniture”; Grandin Road and Frontgate ranked in the top 20.
  • Garnet Hill ranked #57 in “Fashion & Accessories — Women’s Fashion (single brand).”

America’s Best Customer Service 2023 encompasses 676 total awards for 656 unique brands, who were selected based on an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 30,000 U.S. customers who have either made purchases, used services, or gathered information about products or services in the past three years. Customers were asked whether they would recommend brands to friends or family, as well as assess brands in the following areas: quality of communication, professional competence, range of services, customer focus, and accessibility. A total of 200,000 customer evaluations were collected.

The Best Online Shops 2023 were identified after passing a number of tests based on 51 objective and subjective criteria. A detailed testing of each online shop and a nationwide survey of over 6,000 American online shoppers were completed. Survey participants were asked to evaluate online shops on Trust & Security, Structure & Usability, Payment, Purchase & Delivery, Service & Communication, Technical Performance, and Likelihood of Purchase. Out of the thousands of online retailers evaluated, only 1,000 have been awarded in 8 industries and 39 different categories.

These awards are presented by Newsweek and Statista, Inc., a respected statistics portal and industry ranking provider.
